Some light showers and cloudy skies are forecast for this Sunday in Southern Californiaregion where cold temperatures will prevail.
Residents of the counties of Los Angeles and Orange should have umbrellas and warm clothing on hand while waiting for a maximum temperature of 59 degrees and a minimum of 47 at night.
For this Monday, the thermometers will remain below 60 degreeswhile a gradual increase in temperatures is forecast throughout the week starting on Tuesday.
Is in force a National Weather Service advisory for winter weather for the mountains of Los Angeles and Ventura counties from Saturday night through Sunday night, with snowfall forecast between 1 and 3 inches; in addition to strong gusts of wind that could exceed 50 miles per hour.
The Valleys and Inland Empire will also experience light rain conditions through Sunday, but with a high reaching just 54 degrees and an overnight low of 43.
The beach areas present a 20% probability of scattered rains under conditions of cloudy skies, with records in the thermometers of 58 degrees as maximum temperature.
In the deserts there will be cold temperatures, with a maximum of 51 degrees for this Sunday, with a small probability of rain. At night, a temperature of 31 degrees is forecast.
