The Águilas del América lived a night to forget and were defeated at home against the Tuzos del Pachuca with a 3-0 scoreline, with a performance that left much to be desired and became the worst performance they have had in this Liga MX Closing Tournament.

Those led by Guillermo Almada took the lead on the scoreboard just after minute 4, with a goal scored by “Chofis” López who led the Tuzos win, before a crowd that was incredulous at what had happened.

Daniel Hernández at minute 10 showed that Pachuca had not gone to the Azteca stadium to waste time and he was quickly ahead of his team with a score of 2-0 in a very short time after the start of the match. The shot slipped between the legs of goalkeeper Óscar Jiménez that he did not have his best night today.

It’s important pointing that America had two goals disallowed in the first half that would have meant an approach on the scoreboard, however both referee’s decisions were correct and that was shown by each repetition.

But the goals of the Tuzos were not going to stop there, since At minute 38, Roberto De La Rosa would come, a young man summoned by Diego Cocca al Tri and who today closed the mouths of his detractors and placed the third score for Pachuca after a rebound left by the cream-blue goalkeeper. In this way, those led by Tano Ortiz already saw how the game at home turned into a win.

As a negative note they were the boos received by goalkeeper Óscar Jiménez who was responsible for two of the three goals from Pachuca and that the fans would not hesitate to reproach him for a performance that was not at all positive.

With this result, Pachuca is in third position with 19 points, six behind Monterrey, which is the leader, and only two of the Tigres that are in second place. While America loses its undefeated and falls to the sixth box with 17 points obtained.
