The Super Bowl is one of the most famous and anticipated sporting events in the United States. Six days before the LVII edition takes place, a fan’s prediction came out on social networks in which all the champions of this tournament from 2016 to the present were right.
The fan identified as Alex calls himself AlbiesHOF on Twitter and in December 2015 he shared a publication in which he predicted the winner of that year and dared to name the winners of the following 11 editions until the year 2026.
It all started thanks to a tweet in which Alex shared his predictions for the next 10 MLB World Series champions through 2029. In response to that interaction, a fan reminded him of the list he apparently would have made in 2015.
The champion in the 2016 edition was Broncos and since then no forecast has failed. It has 100% accuracy in the last seven years. According to that list, the new NFL monarch in 2023 will be the Philadelphia Eagles.
The forecast ensures that by 2024 the winner will be the Buffalo Bills, in 2025 the Jacksonville Jaguars and in 2026 the Cincinnati Bengals. On February 12, the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles will face each other at State Farm Stadium in Arizona.
More predictions give Philadelphia Eagles as champion
Not only the forecast of this fan on Twitter would give the Eagles the winner in the edition of Super Bowl LVII. As has been the custom year after year in the NFL, the famous video game Madden 23 wanted to figure out who will be the champion and used an Artificial Intelligence (AI) system to achieve it.
This simulation showed that Philadelphia would win against the Kansas City Chiefs with a score of 31-17. However, they went a bit further and also predicted that Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts would win MVP by completing 26 of 33 passes for 282 yards; two touchdowns and 10 rushes for 88 yards, no interceptions.
