Man stabbed to death found at Westlake subway station

A man who was stabbed to death was found Tuesday night inside a subway station in the Westlake district.reported the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD).

Authorities said the stabbing homicide occurred at approximately 9:00 p.m. in the 600 block of S. Alvarado Street, in the Westlake/MacArthur Park station of the Los Angeles Metro.

No details are available at this time about what led to the fatal stabbing, but Los Angeles police said the victim had run down the escalator and collapsed after being attacked with a knife.

Authorities did not provide any description of the suspect responsible for the stabbing.

While the investigations were being carried out, police officers cordoned off one of the entrances to the subway station with yellow tape.
