This Friday a video was released showing the hammer attack suffered by Paul Pelosihusband of former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, at their San Francisco residence last fall.
It was a court in San Francisco, California, in charge of post the police body cam footage that show the exact moment when Nancy Pelosi’s husband suffered the brutal attack that led him to the emergency room at a nearby hospital.
The video shows two police officers knocking on the door of the residence, Paul Pelosi (clad in pajamas) answers the call as David DePape, 42, holds a hammer in his right hand.
The policeman asked what was going on and asked DePape to drop the hammer; Paul Pelosi unsuccessfully tried to take the gun from his attacker with which he was finally beaten repeatedly.
The two police officers quickly entered the residence and subdued DePape. “Give me your damn hands.” The 82-year-old victim was already on the floor at this time.
The release of the video comes after Judge Stephen M. Murphy’s order on Wednesday ruled that there was no legal reason to keep the images private despite the wishes of prosecutors.
A few days ago, Nancy Pelosi told the press that she was in the Capitol that it would be very difficult for her to see the images of the assault suffered by her husband. “It would be very difficult to see an assault on my husband’s life.”
On October 28, 2022, Paul Pelosi was home alone when suddenly a conspiracy theorist identified as David DePape, 42, forced his way into his residence and between shouts he asked “where is Nancy? where is nancy?
The blows that Paul received caused him a fractured skullas well as serious injuries to his right arm and hands, for which he required surgery.
