Fake photo of Guillermo Ochoa with six fingers would have stopped his signing with Olympiakos

Guillermo Ochoa revealed in an interview with the Gazzetta dello Sport that from Greece his signing with Olympiakos was stopped due to a photo that circulated in Mexico on April Fool’s Day in 2011 and where they jokingly claimed that he had six fingers. In addition to the aforementioned Greek team, it was rumored that English Fulham also wanted to get the services of Paco Memo.

This is how the Greek media reported that the star Mexican goalkeeper suffered from Polydactyly, a genetic disorder that causes human beings to be born with more fingers or toes and in this case they even showed a false photograph of the Aztec goalkeeper. This fact unfortunately led to the halting of the negotiations.
