'NBA League Pass' will offer games in virtual reality for all basketball fans in the United States

The The NBA announced Monday that it has extended its relationship with Meta and will offer fans a new series of virtual reality experiences.including the possibility of follow live games through the ‘NBA League Pass’ with this technology that came to change the way you live.

As a result, the NBA reveals how it is that the objective is to offer spectators the possibility of having an immersive experience in the matches and allow them to increase their interaction with other fans, even if they are not present in the stadium.

The “multi-year” agreement signed between the NBA and Meta will increase the number of games available in virtual reality, including five of them that will have a resolution of 2,880 points, one of the best possible to enjoy basketball in the United States.

Furthermore, this new tool known as Virtual reality offers the spectator the possibility of following a match with the perception of being sitting on the bench of one of the teams or move around the pavilion, something that you can do from the comfort of your home, without the need to move from your room or even be in another country.

“Meta’s immersive virtual reality is opening up new opportunities for fans to interact with their favorite NBA teams. The league always pushes us to innovate and provide the latest technology to open the door to new experiences for fanss. This new chapter does just that,” said Rob Shaw, director of Meta.
