Russia expels Estonian ambassador for his country's “Russophobia”

Russia announced this Monday (01.23.2023) the expulsion of the Estonian ambassadorand denounced his country’s “total Russophobia” after the Baltic republic expelled 21 Russian diplomats this month.

“The ambassador of the Republic of Estonia must leave Russia on February 7, 2023“, indicated the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which will lower the bilateral relationship to the level of business managers.

Yesterday, the governments of the three Baltic countries urged Germany to approve the shipment of Leopard 2 tanks that Ukraine is demanding to strengthen its defense and “stop Russian aggression.” “We, the foreign ministers of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania urge Germany to make the ‘Leopard’ available to Ukraine”, pointed out the Estonian holder of said portfolio, Urmas Reinsalu, through his twitter account.
