It’s not a novelty Marco Fabián’s interest in returning to Chivas de Guadalajara. The former international with Mexico has stated on multiple occasions his desire to have a new stage in the Sacred Flock. But the “Amphibian” revealed that an agreement could not be reached between the player and the board. Marco Fabián’s wish was frustrated.
The current Mazatlán FC player acknowledged that if there were approaches between him and club personnel to try to make his return come true. But with the frustrated agreement, the “Anfibio” washed its hands and assured that all his forces are again placed in his present institution.

Marco Fabián trusts Miguel Herrera for El Tri
The Mazatlán FC midfielder had a successful past with the Mexican National Team. Marco Fabián put his hands in the fire to talk about his choice over the new El Tri coach. The veteran Aztec soccer player pointed to Miguel Herrera as his main candidate to lead Mexico to the 2026 World Cup.
“He is a coach who gives you a lot of confidence, he also knows how to lead a very good group (…) I would tell you that I would choose Miguel Herrera for the Mexican National Team because I know him“, he indicated.
