The name of Diego Laínez It is the one that occupies all the sports portals currently in Mexico. The promising Mexican midfielder has not done well in Europe and faced with the possibility of staying warming up the bench and losing level, is one step away from returning to Liga MX.

Everything indicates that Lainez will sign with Tigres de la UANL and would become another of the stars that the pack has. The Águilas del América tried to get him back, considering that he left their basic forces, but the 22-year-old soccer player’s claims made it impossible to hire him.

The one who at some point was thought would have the same success in Europe as other Mexicans, such as Javier ‘Chicharito’ Hernández, Hugo Sánchez or captain Rafa Márquez, now will return to Liga MX as someone who was unsuccessful and social networks give their verdict.

Diego Lainez is totally wrong. First, for returning from Europe without fighting anymore. Then, he comes from failing in Europe (he played 400 minutes), he has the opportunity to return home, to his roots, to his club and he decides to go compete for a position against the foreigners of Tigres…! !

One of those who has given his verdict through Twitter is the Mexican sports journalist David Faitelson. For the seasoned communicator, “Diego Lainez is completely wrong” to abandon top-level football and he should continue trying in Europe: “He comes from failing in Europe (…) He decides to go compete for a position against the foreigners of Tigres… Error!”.

The Lainez issue was also discussed on ESPN’s Ahora o Nunca program. For Herculez Gómez, the Mexican could accept an offer to play in the MLS (where he could earn more) and not in Tigres because he is aiming for the bench. “The path I take is one of no return”assured Barak Fever in the same television space.

“It accumulates less than 300 minutes played from October 2022 to the current date (…) He is too young to spend all the time he spends on the bench, he has to play no matter what. He has to be a footballer again ”, is the opinion of Álvaro López Sordo, host of the Mexican radio program The protagonists.

The midfielder was also highly commented on social networks due to what he was asking America to return: salary over $3 milliona figure that was not accepted by the capital’s board of directors.
