Samsung started the pre-sale of the new line of Galaxy S23 phones which is scheduled to be presented on February 1 at the next Unpacked event. The South Korean company indicated that depending on the form of purchase of the equipment, users will be able to enjoy a discount of up to $100 dollars.
The pre-sale, which is available through Samsung’s website, includes buying the new phone both in a combo with a Galaxy Book computer, or on its own.
From the company they point out that Those who pre-order the new phone, which they refer to simply as “the next Galaxy phone,” will be able to participate in the phone trade-in program.. This consists of the user delivering their current phone and, depending on its age, model and conditions, receive a discount.
From the South Korean firm they added that an additional 5% discount will also be available for all those people who are part of the following groups: students, teachers and parents, government employees, employees of Samsung allied companies and active military personnel and veterans, as well like their relatives.
This practice of starting pre-sales of products that have not yet been presented to the public is not something new, as Samsung has been applying this strategy for years.. The most recent example could be seen with the Samsung Galaxy S22, which was also available in advance for all those users who purchased it through pre-sale.
What will be the price of the new Galaxy S23?
According to insider leaks The price of the Samsung Galaxy S23 will start at $799 dollars in the case of the most basic version of the new line of equipment that has 128 GB of storage and 8 GB of RAM.
The figure rises in the case of Galaxy S23 with 256 GB of storage, which will be priced at $849 dollars.
Finally, the top-end Galaxy S23 Ultra will be available in three options: 256GB of storage and 8GB of RAM for $1,249, 512GB and 12GB of RAM for $1,349, and 1TB of storage and 12GB of RAM for $1,349. $1,499 dollars.
