Conmebol will give five million dollars to Flamengo if they win the Club World Cup

The The South American Football Confederation (Conmebol) will give an additional prize of five million dollars to the Brazilian Flamengo2022 Copa Libertadores champion, if he is crowned champion of the Club World Cup, which will be held between February 1 and 11 in Morocco.

This was announced on his Twitter account by the president of Conmebol, Alejandro Domínguez, who considered the award as “a strong encouragement for the representative of our continent in this tournament”.

Flamengo and Real Madrid, cchampions of the Copa Libertadores and the Champions League, respectively, will debut in the semifinals of the Club World Cup, that will be played on Tuesday 7 and Wednesday 8 February.

The match The opening of the Club World Cup will take place on February 1 and will face the runner-up of the African Champions League 2021-2022, Egyptian Al Ahly, and Auckland City, winner of the 2022 Oceania Champions League.
