Usain Bolt confessed that he was scammed in a fraudulent company and lost more than $10 million dollars

Former Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt announced Monday that he fears he has lost about $10 million that he invested in the Jamaican company. investment company Stocks and Securities Limited (SSL) for a fraud scheme.

Given this, Bolt indicated on his social networks that he is also afraid that he will never be able to recover that supposedly stolen money. and that, apparently, he only has $2,000 left of the million-dollar amount that he began to deposit in 2012 and from which, as he assured, he never made withdrawals.

“In a world of lies, where is the truth? The demonized world. What is its root? The money ”, Bolt expressed on his social networks.

Meanwhile, the representative of the winner of eleven world and eight Olympic titles, Nugent Walker, confirmed that an investigation was aimed at recovering the millions of dollars.

Bolt is one of 30 victims whose investments in SSL they were allegedly watered down by a wealthy adviser.

The fraud could have reached 1,200 million dollars.

In view of this, the Jamaican Police reported last Thursday that it had begun an investigation into the alleged disappearance of millions of dollars. of an account belonging to Bolt in SSL.

Walker said Bolt became aware of the discrepancies in his accounts on Wednesday.

That same day, SSL admitted in a statement that it was “aware of fraudulent activity carried out by a former employee of the company.”

Meanwhile, a publication by a local media indicated that the SSL knew of said fraud since August 2022.

However, the suspected former employee worked at the company until last Wednesday.
