Dramatic video from a drone captured the moments immediately after a shooting occurred near Lake Elsinore on Friday. and in which a Riverside County sheriff was killed.
The recording was taken by the aircraft that was flying near the area at the time the shots occurred.
The pictures show relatives of the suspect in shooting the officer as they run to protect him after the officers shot him.

Moments later, It can also be seen as the injured Sheriff, Darnell Calhoun, is carried into a police car for transport to Inland Valley Medical Center in Widomar.but passed away shortly before 8:00 p.m.
At approximately 4:20 pm Friday, Calhoun responded to a call in the 18500 block of Hilldale Lane. Sadly, when another bailiff arrived, he found his partner wounded on the street. He was taken to Inland Valley Medical Center in Wildomar, where he died. shortly before 8 p.m.
Calhoun died as a result of the injuries he sustained this Friday in a confrontation with a domestic violence suspect in the unincorporated community of Lakeland Village, neighboring the city of Lake Elsinore.
The bailiff was the first to arrive at the scene. Precise details related to the confrontation remain under investigation by authorities..
Neighbors stated that they saw the officer try to take refuge near a house on the corner, but the suspect got into a pickup truck and chased him, while shooting him multiple times.
Minutes later, another deputy arrived at the scene and found Calhoun on the ground. This second officer had an exchange of fire with the suspect and injured him, leaving him in critical condition..
Authorities identified the suspect as Hispanic Jesse Navarro, 42 years old and resident of Lake Elsinore.
Calhoun, 30, was married with two children and awaiting the arrival of a third. The officer was described as well-liked and friendly by everyone who knew and worked with him.
