Luca Martínez Dupuy is a young soccer player born in Mexico to Argentine parents, and despite having dual nationality his dream is to represent El Tri at the highest level, He is currently playing for Rosario Central, a club where he has been trained and has had a great performance.

Nahuel Darío Martínez, is Luca’s father, and was playing for Real San Luis at the time of his son’s birth and even played for other Mexican clubs before his return to Argentina.

Since his debut in Argentine soccer with Rosario Central, Martínez Dupuy has already played a total of 47 games with 7 goals scored and two assists.. His performance earned him consideration for the Tri sub 21 team, where he has already scored a couple of goals in friendlies against Romania and Sweden.

“I am 100% committed to Mexico, because from so many kilometers away, they were the first to notice me and give me the opportunity“said Luca Martínez Dupuy in an interview with Bolavip.

“Every time I have to go, I am very happy and I am committed to giving everything, because it was the country that saw me born. I have already spoken with people from there and every time I want to return; we will be waiting for the call“, the Rosario Central striker reiterated.

It remains to be seen if Lucas is considered by the senior team in the next process, without a doubt his experience in Argentine football could bring a great contribution to Mexico that seeks to restructure after the failure of the Qatar 2022 World Cup.
