The influencer Andrew Tate must remain in jail for at least 30 more days, charged with organized crime, human trafficking and rape.

According to a report by the AP agency, a court in Bucharest, Romania, confirmed the detention for 30 days more of the controversial social media personality and self-described misogynist and his brother named Tristan.

According to the information released, the court rejected an appeal by Tate against a judge’s earlier decision to extend his detention from 24 hours to 30 days.

The Bucharest Court of Appeal rejected the four appeals against a judge’s decisionadopted on December 30, to accede to the prosecutors’ request to extend the detention period.

Among the arguments for rejecting the appeals is that there is a possibility that they will evade investigations and that they leave Romania to settle in countries that do not allow extradition.

After the refusal of the court, it appeared a cryptic post on Tat’s Twitter accounte, which read: “When Allah said: ‘I test only those I love.’ I accepted pain as an honor – Abu Hurayrah.”
