On Thursday, January 5, the Mexican authorities, in collaboration with their counterparts in the United States, managed to capture Ovidio Guzmán, son of the feared drug trafficker Joaquín ‘El Chapo’ Guzmán.
The arrest occurred inside a house belonging to the Jesús María union, in the city of Culiacán, in Sinaloa.
As seen in a video broadcast by the local Radio Doce media, the property is located on a hill and to enter you must go through a huge wooden gate, which shows several bullet holes as a result of the successful operation.
After passing the main door there is a cobblestone area that functioned for the movement of vehicles or outdoor parking.
In that part there is a covered garage with capacity for up to six vehicles, as well as a large palapa, in which the capo probably used to organize various meetings with his relatives.
After the operation, the façade and various vehicles present various bullet holes, while grenades, hundreds of casings, helmets and pools of blood can be seen on the floor.
