HOUSTON – The Domestic violence cases in the Houston area have dominated local news headlines in recent days and another deadly case was reported Thursday night.
According to the Houston Police, A man with suspected mental health problems shot his mother multiple times, killing her boyfriend in an incident west of Houston.
The shooting occurred around midnight at a home located at 2300 Binley Drive.
The suspect has reportedly had mental health issues throughout his life. It’s unclear exactly what led up to the shooting, but police said at some point, the man got a hold of a gun and opened fire. https://t.co/BEiscFrPBV

According to preliminary investigations, three people lived in the house at the time of the incident, of which its origin is unknown. The only thing revealed by the authorities is that the suspect took a gun and shot her mother and her boyfriend.
The woman received three bullets: in the face, arm and leg, for which she had to be taken to a hospital in the area where she is in stable condition.
For his part, the boyfriend -approximately 50 years old- did not survive his injuries and died at the scene.
The alleged attacker waited for the authorities to arrive at the scene to turn himself in.
