After retiring from professional football and separating from the singer Shakira, Gerard Piqué continues to boast of his relationship with Clara Chía Martí. Now, the Catalan was captured with his parents and the young woman. Through social networks, several photographs of the couples shared shared.
The images were revealed by paparazzi Jordi Martín and show Piqué with his parents and Martí enjoying the new house that had initially been built when he was still with Shakira. This property would be located in the Pyrenees.
The photos show a former player quite smiling next to Clara while she is having a conversation with the mother of the World Champion, Montserrat Bernabéu, who had a somewhat serious expression while holding a dog. For his part, Gerard did see himself with a rather relaxed attitude, hugging and talking with his father, Joan Piqué.
In Martín’s explanation, despite the serious gesture of the mother of the 35-year-old former soccer player, she tries to create “complicity” to contribute to her son’s efforts to keep the new relationship stable after more than 10 years of romance with Shakira.
“Our indiscreet lens caught the complicity that exists between ‘Clarita’ and Piqué’s mother. The lady, apparently, is willing to have the best relationship with the woman who is with her son, whoever it is, and for as long as it lasts”, said Jordi Martin in the El Gordo y la Flaca Program.
At the expense of the rumors that speak of a cold relationship between Martí and Montserrat Bernabéu, the Spanish journalist insisted on the family’s effort to turn the page and reach out to their son.
“Joan Piqué and Montserrat Bernabéu have shown their unconditional support for their son in this decision. His son was no longer in love with Shakira and has met another person with whom he has remade his life. His parents already know Clara Chía, with whom they have been on several occasions, and they have fit in perfectly. She seems like a really nice girl,” she added.
After months of personal turmoil plus strong professional criticism that even led to his retirement, Piqué is immersed in a new project linked to football. The Catalan is president of the Kings League, a tournament where players, former soccer players and streamers participate.
