The dollar continues its decline in the Mexican market. Since 2023 began, it has not come any closer to the floor of 20 pesos per dollar unit, quite the opposite. Today in the morning session it remained downward and we have a dollar that is trading at 19.31 pesos per dollar unit. At the bank window, the average purchase price drops below the 19-peso barrier and trades at 18.95 per unit, and the sale price is 19.68 pesos per dollar unit. The trend is still downward.

In the Honduran market, the dollar remains in a positive trend but its movement is very slight. The price remains at 24.68 lempiras per unit of green bills and the average of maximums and minimums is 24.54 and 24.80 lempiras per dollar, respectively.

In Nicaragua, the dollar shows an upward trend and also with few movements this week. Today it is trading at 36.51 córdobas per greenback unit. For buying and selling, the trend remains between 36.02 córdobas and 37.00 córdobas per dollar, respectively.

In Costa Rica, the dollar shows a positive trend although the value is lower than yesterday’s session. Today it is trading at 590.59 colones per dollar unitr. The Costa Rican currency moves on average between 589.72 for purchase and 591.45 colones per dollar for sale.

In the Dominican Republic, the green bill moves with a positive trend at a price of 56.35 DOP per dollar unit. For the purchase and sale, it is calculated on average between 56.11 pesos and 56.59 DOP per dollar unit, respectively.

The dollar in Venezuela almost reaches the barrier of 18 bolivars per unit of greenback. Today it is listed at the rate of the central bank of Venezuela at 17.92 bolivars per dollar unit. And the average range is 17.89 and 17.94 Bs. per green ticket for the purchase and sale respectively. The upward trend persists, it is easy to imagine that in the first month of the year the dollar will cost over 20 bolivars in Venezuela.
