The NBA renamed the MVP Awards as Michael Jordan, in honor of the legend who won six rings with the Chicago Bulls. It can be noted that it was not only the MVPs that changed their names, they were also renamed five other awards that are usually awarded in the best basketball in the world.
It should be noted that the league presented the trophy last Tuesday and the statuette shows a player climbing out of a rock to grab a basketball made of glass. Without a doubt, a well-deserved tribute to who is considered the best player in history and even many place him as the best athlete in any discipline.
The statuette awarded to the MVP includes different elements alluding to Michael Jordan, it includes references to the mythical 16 and the six titles obtained at the time of the 90 within the NBA with the Chicago Bulls.

In addition of the NBA MVP award, five other awards were renamed within the best basketball in the world , including rookie of the year, defenseman of the year, sixth man, among others. However, other awards were included in the prestigious list starting this season.
