One day after the death of the Mexican governor of the state of Puebla, Miguel Barbosa Huerta , the president of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, lamented his loss again and described him as a “fighter for democracy”.

From his morning conference, the Mexican president recalled when he lived with Barbosa Huerta during the commemoration of the Battle of Puebla on May 5.

Andrés Manuel López Obrador also recalled from the National Palace that Miguel Barbosa was the one who promoted the idea of ​​carrying out the march for the four years of government held last 80 of November.

in the “Casa Aguayo”.

There López Obrador recounted how Barbosa Huerta joined the transformation he heads and becomes governor of Puebla, in addition to providing full support to the relatives of the deceased.

“I convey my condolences to all the people of this progressive state of Puebla. I knew Miguel for many years when the fight for democracy began, around 15 years and we worked together in Puebla and throughout the country. I have very good memories of him and there came a time when we parted ways, but it didn’t take us long to get back together,” he mentioned.

“ I remember that before the presidential election I invited him, he was a senator for another party and I called him to join and together we achieved the transformation that the country needed and that fortunately is underway and he accepted, adhered, joined our fight”, he commented.

“He was so In order to end our cause, he (Miguel Barbosa) was the first to talk about the fact that we should hold a march (80 November) and had already summoned her, I was thinking of a report only with members of the cabinet… The original initiative was Miguel’s and we met there,” he acknowledged.

After his words, López Obrador set up an honor guard along with Miguel Barbosa’s wife, Mrs. María del Rosario Orozco , and members of the federal and state cabinet.
