Four deaths confirmed in explosion southeast of San Antonio; They suspect it was an arson attack.

SAN ANTONIO – The San Antonio Fire Department has confirmed four fatalities in an explosion in the southeast of the city this Sunday afternoon.

The incident occurred at 11: 36 pm near K-Bar, a construction company located on the block of South Presa Street.

Due to the adverse weather conditions this Saturday, operations were affected, but this Sunday the efforts of the firefighters on the scene were resumed to treat to determine the cause of the explosion, according to a statement from the fire brigade-

When firefighters initially arrived on the scene they found evidence of a widespread explosion and one person dead.

This Saturday afternoon the fire department confirmed a second fatality and for this Sunday two more deaths were confirmed.

One of the four victims was identified by the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office as Roger Huron, age 60 years old,

This Saturday, the efforts to recover evidence and cleanup intensified around the affected area.

The fire department, however, continues with the investigation. Officials have said they suspect arson.
