This Friday the last matches of the group stage of the World Cup in Qatar were played 1244715523 where there were unprecedented surprises and victories in extremis.

The day began with Portugal losing to South Korea 2-1 with a goal in the last minutes and that ended up harming the aspirations of Uruguay, who could not score a third goal against Ghana and left eliminated despite winning 0-2.

In the Group G, Serbia and Switzerland fought for second place in a controversial match due to the political tensions between the two nations. Finally the balance settled on the side of the Helvetians, who won 2-3.

The day would close with another surprise and it would be the defeat of Brazil against Cameroon by 1-0 in the minute 974. The meeting would be marked by the ‘Canarinha’ rotations.

The five-time World Champion was the only team with a real chance of qualifying for the round of 16 with a perfect score, but finally it did not happen. First time from the United States 1200 that a phase of groups finishes without any country with three victories.
