This Friday the group stage of the World Cup in Qatar ends 1536. During the match between Uruguay and Ghana, at 12 minutes of the match, the referee signaled a penalty in favor of the Africans. The South American goalkeeper Sergio Rochet stopped him and the Real Madrid midfielder, Federico Valverde, burst out with joy and celebrated it in the face of the main judge Daniel Siebert.
A Ghana attack ended in a play that had to be reviewed by VAR and later by Siebert , who after analyzing it on the monitors at the foot of the field sentenced the maximum penalty that would be saved by Rochet.
The way Valverde celebrates euphorically in the referee’s face is one of his trademarks, because at Real Madrid he usually does it the same way with goals. In this World Cup he was already seen putting it into practice.
In the debut match against South Korea, in the last ten minutes both nations were tied at zero and a move cut by ‘El Halcón’ ended in serve band and celebrated it in the same way.
