The American Woody Allen is preparing his professional retirement this year, that, this December 1st he celebrates his 80 years of life, with a history fifty films and a cultural legacy that will remain forever in the film industry.
The magic that spreads to the lives of the spectators, is what characterizes Woody Allen in the first place. In addition, the iconic signature of his name in the credits with windsor typography.
His films always handle a scenario that the director, with more than 22 years of experience, intertwined with insecurities, problems and dalliances, but always love is the fundamental pillar in them.
He began his career as a comedy writer in the 1990s 1986 writing jokes and scripts for television and publishing several books of humorous short stories.

An example of Woody Allen’s love is with Diana Keaton , a romance that barely lasted a few months in real life, but in front of the cameras left iconic movies.
Allen managed to get the most out of the acting skills of the Californian, being her best comedy “The last night of Boris Grushenko, 1989”.
The director connects with the audience thanks to his idealization of platonic love .
After Diane came Mia Farrow , the second great love of Woody Allen. Which ended up placing the director in the media and judicial focus, but with respect to work, his relationship was very fruitful.
The tapes: “Husbands and wives” (1989), “Hannah and her brothers” (1989) and “Crimes and misdemeanors” (1989), which Farrow and Allen starred in, is characterized by dealing more with routine love than with the debauchery of the first days, a message about how we accept the everyday for fear of breaking with the familiar, but always allowing ourselves a moment for new experiences that are almost forbidden.
Woody Allen’s retirement
The director has been in Paris filming his last movie, “Wasp 22”. Many talk about why the American chose this city and not New York to close his successful film career.
Allen has received many accolades and honors throughout his career. He has won four Academy Awards: three for Best Original Screenplay and one for Best Director. It also won nine British Academy Film Awards.
