Possible consequences of a cracked injector
When the engine fulfills its functions under a fuel injector cracked, it could cause fuel or steam to accumulate near hot surfaces, increasing the risk of causing a fire under the hood.
On the other hand, to know if you suffer from this problem, Ford recommends updating the engine control program in order to be able to detect if, indeed, the injector fuel r has faults. In addition, it can also be noticed if it detects a pressure drop in the fuel rail, which will cause the engine power to decrease to avoid greater evils.
In this way, owners will be able to drive at safe places, preferably Ford dealers to solve the fault.
