The Shiveluch volcano erupted

After seven years without significant activity, the Shiveluch volcano erupted, roaring with a huge amount of lava and ashes that have made the specialists fear that could lead to a large-scale eruption.
“As the growth of the lava dome continues , a strong activity of fumaroles, an incandescence of the lava dome, explosions and hot avalanches accompany this process” , reported the Kamchatka Volcano Eruption Response Team.
“The ongoing activity could affect to planes intern national and low-flying”, added the same team.
The images released a few hours ago show aerial shots of the large crater full of lava, whose temperature can exceed 1.200º C. The explosion began gradually, while the expulsion of the lava flows was violent.
The Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations alerted the inhabitants of the area and asked them to are maintained over 15 kilometers from the volcano, because the ash rain can cause discomfort.
“The rain of ashes can cause allergies , as well as damaging cars and other equipment,” the ministry said in a statement.
According to information from the agency Russian Sputnik news, activity del Shiveluch began on Sunday, spewing ash columns between 4.6 km and 5 km.
