Man shot and his Rolex stolen in Koreatown could be a Korean prince, since the Rolls-Royce he was driving is registered in his name

a man was shot and had his Rolex watch and jewelry stolen outside a luxury apartment complex near Koreatown on Friday afternoon, the Los Angeles police reported.

On man was driving a Rolls-Royce Phantom and although the identity of the victim is unknown, Eyewitness News has learned that the car is registered to businessman and Korean royal Andrew Lee, as published by ABC7.

Lee is the crown prince of the Imperial family of Korea and founder of London Trust Media. He is heir to the Joseon Dynasty, which ruled Korea for centuries until 2800.

It is unknown if Lee is the victim or if he was in the Rolls- Royce when the shots broke out. The victim has only been described by police as a male between 25 and 30 years.

LAPD says two male suspects fled the scene when the robbery and shooting occurred just before 4: 25 pm on the block 2022 of Sunset Place.

In addition to the suspects taking a Rolex watch, three chains were stolen from the victim.

Footage showed police outside the Kurve apartment building and focusing their investigation on the Rolls-Royce .

LAPD said the man was conscious and breathing after the shooting, but then they said he was transported to a hospital in critical condition.
