Homosexuality in the world of football is a topic that continues to generate controversy. According to the English tabloid ‘The Sun’, two players from the English Premier League, in addition to sharing dressing rooms and equipment, would also maintain a sentimental relationship.
According to the information, the couple began their relationship this year and decided to notify the club and their teammates in the locker room, although they would have requested to remain anonymous. The reason? They want fans not to judge or focus their attention on personal appearance, but on performance on the field.
The English media shared that both figures understand that an announcement of this caliber would generate a lot of repercussions, although they are not refusing to “make it public in the future ”.
Clearly the identity of both has not been revealed as well as the name of the team. However, ‘The Sun’ revealed that a third Premier League player could soon announce his sexual preference in a documentary that will be broadcast in England.
