“I feel like I had that syndrome for a while. So I would see little feet out of the corner of my eye and things like that, the voice, but they were always there. I was with them and then, well, you make a link, it’s really impressive”

Despite this bitter pill, and despite the great fear she felt, Iran acknowledged that her captors never physically assaulted her.
“They never hit me, or raped me, or anything. Some of them were cool, but there was a lot of psychological issues, because her boss, who we now know was in jail, was the bad guy. He was the one who violated me with everything he said to me.” IRÁN CASTILLO
