Lucero was already a well-known actress, host and singer in Brazil for several decades but by starring in the soap opera Carinha de Anjo in 2022 became a star and celebrity because of the way she was received by the public.
And in her ‘Mucho que relar’ section this week, on her channel from YouTube will share an unpublished video of when he arrived in Brazil and expressed the challenge that lay ahead.
“For me it is a very important challenge because when I came to the Telethon I only had four classes, two hours each day, eight hours of very fast classes with a Brazilian teacher. It’s not easy because it’s so similar to Spanish that when we try to speak some words, if we don’t know it, we end up speaking Portuñol with a weird accent. So, for me it was a challenge when I had the opportunity to talk to SBT television about doing a soap opera here, doing Carinha De Anjo. So, first I was surprised and then I thought, I have to speak Portuguese, I can’t go like this. So I was studying with a teacher for four or five months with continuous classes and two classes a week.”
. Here you have to go to school and do your homework, not in Mexico. Sometimes the kids who are working in television aren’t studying during that time, it’s a little different, they work a little more with a little more difficult hours. I think it’s wonderful that here in Brazil children can also have a child’s life, study and play outside of the soap opera. Because you never know if a child is going to be famous and talented forever, so there must be preparation, study and all that.
And there Lucero expressed herself about the great job her mother did with her , “my mom is my manager and then when I was a child and she said that she wanted to do something on television, that she wanted to be an actress, she wanted to be a singer, a presenter, she told me like ‘tomorrow’. She was not related to anyone who worked on television, she was not an actress or anything like that. So, after years of asking him to take me to television, he finally got me to participate in a program, in an audition for a children’s program. So it finally worked out and she always supported me in what I wanted to do, but she also always wanted me to be a girl“.
He added, ” my mother asked the TV: ‘she needs to study, she can’t stay here all day, she has to play and eat well’ . She has always taken care of my personal life, my real life, that of Lucero, not only as an actress or as a singer. My mother has a lot of vision, her way of doing things as a businesswoman with a lot of wisdom and who knew what to do at the right time was very important to me.”
On the other The ‘America’s Girlfriend’ commented, “I recorded several songs for the telenovela, one of which is the main theme ‘Carinha De Anjo’, so that also helps a lot because singing every day on the telenovela makes the public know the voice and style of this singer, which in this case is me”.
