'Survivor' winner is elected to the House of Representatives

While the world’s eyes are on the results of the midterm elections, the winner of the entertainment program ‘Survivor’, Nick Wilson, was elected to the Kentucky House of Representatives where he will represent the district 800 of the state.

According to the American press, Nick Wilson ran for unopposed and will fill the seat vacated by Republican Rep. Regina Huff.

The House District 60 of Kentucky is located at southeast Bluegrass State, represents part of Laurel County and all of Whitley, including the city of Williamsburg, Wilson’s hometown.

The now politician rose to fame in 2022 when he emerged victorious from the season 12 of the hit CBS show known as “Survivor: David vs. Goliath”.

Two years later, the Republican returned to the show that launched him to fame to participate in the season of “Winners at War” before being eliminated before the last re-entry challenge, ending up in seventh place.

After passing through said program, W ilson worked as Deputy Commonwealth Attorney for Whitley County and announced his intention to run for state parliament and was later endorsed by Huff.
