Teachers, grocery store workers, and restaurant staff among workers who will be able to receive vaccines

Los Angeles County public health officials released more information Saturday about how teachers, Supermarket workers, restaurant staff and other essential workers will be vaccinated against COVID – 19 from Monday.
As of March 1, many more people will be eligible for a vaccine in Los County angels: employee education and child care, food workers and agriculture and emergency services and personnel manager
Residents of 65 years or more, health workers and who are in assisted living centers have already been able to eron schedule appointments for vaccinations.
Those who are eligible will be able to register to receive their doses at vaccinatelacounty.com .

In addition to being able to get vaccinated at any public vaccination site , workers can also get vaccinated at “mega POD” sites County on special days.
Mega POD sites include Pomona Fairplex, Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia, The Forum in Inglewood, California State University, Northridge and the Los Angeles County Office of Education.

So far, almost 1 have been administered, 1200, 000 COVID Vaccine Dosage – in all of Los Angeles County, but only 600, 497 people have received both doses.
And although the county had the capacity to administer 500, 000 dose last week, you only received 211, 01 doses during the week.
Los Angeles County expects 269, 000 dose the next week, and will assign 211, 000 of them for people who receive their first vaccines.
“We are very hopeful that our COVID vaccination dose allocation – increase as there are more vaccine options available, ”said Los Angeles County Director of Public Health, Barbara Ferrer, it’s a statement. “The more people are protected with vaccines, along with businesses and residents who follow security measures, the faster we will reduce cases and the sooner we will move to less restrictive levels that allow for an additional reopening.”
