There is already a new pastor. Veljko Paunović has been officially presented as the new technical director of Chivas de Guadalajara, thus being the one chosen to guide the sacred flock to what is expected to be the path of success for the group from Guadalajara.
Through a video on their social networks, Guadalajara was in charge of revealing the name who takes the place left vacant by Ricardo Cadena, a strategist who had an important start, but who subsequently lowered his performance and ended up parting ways with the institution.
Paunović, the chosen coach, beat other names that were on Fernando Hierro’s list , something that placed the strategist in front of the Guadalajara team that had to modify the start of their preseason, which began on 14 of October, but for lack of a guider he put this aside.
However, with his inclusion to Chivas, the team explained that the return to work by the players of the entire squad will be until 14 of November by indications of the same Fernando Hierro.

The new signing of the Chivas, Veljko Paunović has had experience in Serbian youth teams . Together, was technical director of the Chicago Fire of Major League Soccer for a period of four years and with Reading of England in the Second Division.
Taking a look at the past, we see how it is that the serbio made his debut with Partizán in his country and also had a spell with Atlético de Madrid in two stages, although he was loaned to clubs such as Marbella, Mallorca, Oviedo, Tenerife during his time as an active player.
Other teams where the now Chivas coach had action were Hannover 96 in Germany, Rubin Kazan of Russia and the Philaldelphia Union of MLS in the United States.
