Congressmen could be exposed to coronavirus during the assault on the Capitol

The nightmare that the United States congressmen lived during the assault on the Capitol does not stop.

According to information from the Congressional Medical Office , multiple legislators could be exposed to a person with coronavirus during their shelter in the building.

Legislators were isolated in a room waiting for the end of the assault by Donald Trump supporters .

“The time in this room was several hours for some and shorter for others, ”said Brian Monahan, Congressional Physician. “During this time, people may have been exposed to another occupant with coronavirus infection .”

Some of the Republican legislators did not wear a mask in the room where they took refuge despite the fact that several Democrats asked them to take them. Studies have identified closed and crowded spaces as ideal for the spread of the virus.
