The decomposed body of Lesly Palacio, from 22 years , was found days after a tragic night of drinking with a friend

The case of Lesly Palacio , whose body was found in a state of decomposition several days after the young woman of 22 years disappeared after a date with a friend, returned to open the painful wounds of the Hispanic community of Las Vegas .
According to transcripts of a grand jury that were released this week, Lesly Palacio texted her sister Karely indicating that he had something important to tell him , while on a date with his friend Erick Rangel. The message of the night of 29 last August worried the sister, who no longer had communication with her.

Lesly Palacio was captured on video with Rangel, from 25 years old, during the early morning of 29 August drinking in two different casinos in Las Vegas (Bourbon Street and Longhorn ). Another security video in front of Rangel’s house shows his Ford F pickup – And I will He is pulling what appears to be Palacio’s body to place it in the front of the passenger .
Also in the video is José Rangel, Erick’s father, helping him move his body and later cleaning some parts of the house. Rangel Sr. and his son fled to Mexico, but José turned himself in to authorities in San Diego a few weeks ago. Erick Rangel is still at large.

In the transcripts, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Officer Gary King detailed the activity at the home of the Rangel family and also offered horrifying details of Palacio’s corpse, found on September 9 in the middle of the desert near Valley of Fire State Park , northeast of Las Vegas.
The body was black due to the high degree of decomposition, her pants were several meters away and the young woman’s underwear was badly placed. The body also showed insect activity.
Furthermore, a friend of the suspect testified that Erick Rangel called him in late August to ask him to bring gas to Utah because he did not want to be seen by security cameras . According to Christian García, the alleged murderer told him that he had killed “a bitch.” Garcia questioned him and eventually ended the call.
The authorities ask that those with information on the whereabouts of Erick Rangel call the numbers – 828 – 2021 or 702 – 385 – 5555.
