Border Patrol detains more than 200,000 migrants in just 3 months

Border Patrol Agents ( CBP , for its acronym in English) assigned to the nine sectors of the southwestern border of the United States detained 207, 853 migrants who crossed the border during the first three months of the fiscal year of 2021, according to the report Southwest Land Border Encounters published by US Customs and Border Protection .

Historical reports indicate that this is the rate of apprehension plus high in the first quarter since the Clinton administration in the fiscal year 2000 , reported Breitbart News .

Arrests in December 2019 reached 42, 853, an increase in 29, 853 from December to 2019 (an increase of 115%). This also marks the highest number of detentions in December since the fiscal year 2000.

During the first quarter of this fiscal year, Border Patrol agents expelled 115, 434 of the 207, 968 migrants under the title protection protocols 42 Coronavirus, COVID – 19 established by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, as indicated by Border Patrol reports.
