The fan heavily tackled by Bobby Wagner on Monday Night Football filed a police report against the Rams player

A fan present at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, entered the field with pink smoke until he was heavily tackled by Bobby Wagner, Los Angeles Rams defensive lineman , after the subject had dodged several security officials.

Now the fan opened a police report against Wagner with the Santa Clara Police Department. The police officials cannot give more information because it is an open investigation.

TMZ Sports reported that the man who entered is an animal rights activist from a group called Direct Action Everywhere and was trying to “raise awareness of a lawsuit related to the alleged theft of pigs from a factory farm” as he entered the field before halftime of the game between the Rams and the 49ers on Monday Night.

Wagner reported that he is aware of the r police report against him, but that he is more concerned about a security official who was injured during the persecution of the protester.

“I really can’t concentrate on that. I’m more concerned about the security guard who was injured trying to chase him… you just have to do what you have to do,” Wagner said.

The Los Angeles player Rams stressed that they never know what a person is wearing when they enter a grid that way so he made a decision by tackling the subject before he was expelled by security officials.

The Rams coach also showed his support for Bobby Wagner for his actions and stated that he does not believe that there is someone not agree with what he did.

“I think we all know what Bobby’s intentions were. And I support Bobby Wagner. “That’s where I’m at with that. I don’t think anyone would disagree,” said Sean McVay.

The San Francisco 49ers (2-2) submitted this Monday to the Los Angeles Rams (2-2) by 9-24 in the reissue of the Californian rivalry game that last season defined the NFC champion.
