Given the controversies that have arisen from Spain over the dances of the Brazilian star Vinicius Jr., someone with enough stripes to do it has come to his defense. Nothing more and nothing less than ‘The King’ Pelé, spoke out against this fact and defended his compatriot.

Recently in a television program called “El Chiringuito”, the president of the Spanish Association of Soccer Agents, stated that Vinicius should go to dance in Brazil as “a monkey” if that is what he wanted.

The words of Edson Arantes Do Nascimento

Faced with this reality, the world soccer star and considered by many to be the best soccer player in history, Edson Arantes Do Nascimento, spoke out in favor of his compatriot.

“Football is joy, it’s a dance, it’s more than that, it’s a real party. Although racism unfortunately still exists, we will not allow this to stop us smile’, said world soccer legend, ‘El Rey’ Pelé.

“We will continue to fight racism in this way. Fighting for our right to be happy and respected”, he concluded.

Dance Vini Jr.!

Given this reality, the controversy arose due to statements by the captain of Atlético Madrid, Koke, who indicated that if the Brazilian Vinicius danced in the classic there would surely be problems . He assured that everyone celebrated the goals to their liking but hinted that there would be anger.

Football players like Neymar and Raphinha from FC Barcelona used the hashtag # BailaViniJr in solidarity with his compatriot and against all acts of racism which is unfortunate in any expression.
