The disqualified lawyer was sentenced in 2018 to three years in prison in New York State after pleading guilty to various crimes, including perjury before the United States Congress and violating the laws of campaign finance.

The latest accusation concerns payments of “secret money” to adult film star Stormy Daniels, performed by Cohen himself on behalf of Trump, according to the attorney.

Cohen worked for Trump for over a decade and is often described as Trump’s “plumber” until there was a rift between them. The lawyer ended up making serious accusations against him in court and in Congress.

In May of last year he was released from the federal prison and sent to house confinement, then returned to prison and re-released two weeks later. You are expected to serve the remainder of your sentence under house arrest.
