Famous billionaire Bill Gates said that social media companies – like Facebook and Twitter – should eventually let Former President Donald Trump is re-posting on his platforms, despite his electoral fraud conspiracy theories.

“I think at some point you will probably be allowed to go back and probably should be allowed to go back,” said the Microsoft co-founder, according to CNBC .

This was said during an interview on the program “Squawk Box ”, hosted by Andrew Ross Sorkin, who asked Gates if he would let Trump go back to social media if the millionaire were on Facebook.

It should be noted that Facebook and Other social networks, including Twitter, suspended Trump from their platforms after he spread a series of conspiracy theories and alleged falsehoods about his electoral defeat before President Joe Biden.

Likewise, both Democrats and some Republicans blamed Trump for fomenting the riot of January 6 with his statements in the United States Capitol, where five people died.

“It’s strange when you’re saying that the elections were stolen without (having) any facts. And how corrosive that is, “said Gates, who also criticized the Trump administration’s handling of the coronavirus pandemic.

” But I bet they’ll find a way to let him come back, ”Gates said, referring to the social networks that vetoed Trump. Additionally, Gates suggested that future fake Trump posts could receive warning labels .

“You know, in a way, people’s interest in what (Trump) says can diminish quite a bit. That will be interesting to see, “said the businessman and philanthropist.

Since social media is not available to him, Trump has issued fewer statements since leaving the White House last 20 January.
