The authorities of Indonesia confirmed that the commercial aircraft with a total of 62 people, 62 passengers and 6 crew members aboard which the track had been lost suffered an accident falling into the sea off the coast of Jakarta .

A spokesperson for the Indonesian search and rescue agency, Basarna , reported at an emergency press conference that the airline’s plane Sriwajaya , a Boeing 737 – 524 , crashed in the Java Sea few minutes after taking off from the International Airport Sukarno – Hatta , in the Indonesian capital , bound for Pontianak , capital of West Borneo.
For its part, the Police reported that it has installed a corpse identification post in a hospital in East Jakarta where the families and relatives of the victims will be attended, reports the local portal Detik .
