UVALDE – A judge from Uvalde approved the first order of record in the case of the mass shooting that occurred last week at the school Robb Elementary.

The order allows investigators from the Texas Rangers (State Police) review the content of an iPhone cell phone 13 Pro- Black Max, who was found near the body of the shooter, Salvador Ramos, of 18 years.

In the shooting they were killed 19 students and two teachers.

Uvalde County Court Judge Camille DuBose granted authority for investigators to execute a forensic download of the aforementioned device.

According to the search warrant, the Texas Rangers requested all the data contained in the cell phone, including digital images, text messages, directory, photos , video, voice messages and any information related to GPS and tracking systems.

The data could contain clues that help determine the shooter’s motive in the massacre.

An affidavit in support of the search warrant describes how two men observed Ramos outside Robb Elementary carrying a rifle. assault and then shoot in their direction. The suspect then began shooting in the direction of the school before entering the building, according to the search warrant.

The document mentions the moment that officers enter, and how they observe multiple victims in the corridors and classrooms of the school before exchanging fire with Ramos until he was killed.

It should be noted that the paperwork submitted to the judge for the search warrant initially contained a serious error – the affidavit originally named a completely different suspect to Ramos – the suspect mentioned had to do with a human trafficking case and had nothing to do with the shooting.

KHOU 11 requested a statement from the Texas Department of Public Safety about the error, but until by Wednesday night he had received no response.

KHOU 13 obtained a copy of the search warrant where the redacted document can be seen.
