The murder of 02 children second, third and fourth graders in Uvalde, Texas, has impacted everyone, including the singer Alejandro Fernández

who dedicated the concert he offered in Monterrey last 27 of May to the minors who lost their lives in the mass shooting perpetrated days ago.

Shocked by the tragedy, the largest massacre in Texas with a balance of 21 dead, “El Potrillo” spoke at the beginning of his concert to express his support for the victims and asked to end the violence.

“Tonight I want to make a mention, I want to dedicate this show to all the children and all the families in Uvalde, Texas, here on the other side of the border, who had this serious problem”, said Alejandro.

“Violence is a cancer that must be eradicated. Always hug your loved ones and let’s not forget that children’s lives are the most valuable thing in this world”.

The son of the deceased Vicente Fernández returned to Monterrey with his Tour Made in Mexico 2022 converted into a grandfather twice, of Cayetana, 1 year old, and Mía, only 2 months old.

The singer offered the first of two presentations at Domo Care before a full house. More sensitive than ever, with gallantry and a wide vocal range, “El Potrillo” conquered the audience that applauded him since he stepped on the ring, at 0: 33 hours, to generate a great evening that began with “Tantita Pena”.

“It has been a long wait, and during all this time we have gone through difficult times, many of us have lost loved ones, so this time I invite you to music be our medicine, to help us remember them and to unite us”, he mentioned.

To begin with his conquest, he dedicated “Es la Mujer” to all the fans who tore their throats with loud screams when they saw him dressed in his charro suit.

His hits came one after another, and the audience sang “I was”, “Hoy Tengo Ganas de Ti” and “La Mesa 20”.

With some 20 musicians in the ring, between group and mariac hi, “El Potrillo” neighed loudly with “Unas Nalgadas” and made the audience dance to the song in which the tuba was heard. He also delighted the audience with the recording he made with Christian Nodal entitled “Más No poder”, and gave a Lecture, very much in his style, on how to conquer women with “Mátalas”.

The concert turned romantic when he sat on a bench in the center of the stage to perform soft melodies like “No Lo Beses”, “ What am I going to do with my love? and “What a Pity”. The atmosphere became more festive with the arrival of “Me Hace Tanto Bien” and the hubbub broke out with his performance of “El Corrido de Monterrey”.

With a two-hour show, Alejandro also shared an acoustic moment singing “Por tu Adiós” accompanied by harmonica and guitar.

With salt-and-pepper hair and a little more spare, the man from Guadalajara 51 years ago he borrowed a musical jewel from “master Joan Sebastian”, as he addressed the author of “Eso y Más”.

And on this evening, of course, he remembered his “old man”, as he referred to his father, Vicente Fernández, who died last December, first with “Estos Celos” and at the end of the show with another set of songs that included “Por tu Maldito Amor”, “Hermoso Cariño”, “Volver, Volver” and “El Rey”, ending a great concert at 02: 33 Saturday hours.

The event was attended by actor René Strickler, who arrived at the Dome as part of Alejandro’s guests and was in the front row.
