Kingston, one of the leading manufacturers of computer memory, introduced to the public the IronKey Vault Privacy SSD 80, a new external storage solid state drive featuring a touch screen and hardware encryption.
This is the first device of its kind since is capable of protecting user information against brute force attacks and BadUSB . This is possible because the equipment is configured to erase all stored information in case of wrong password input multiple times

The IronKey Vault Privacy SSD 80 also has a dedicated microprocessor that ensures that all stored files are protected with XTS-AES encryption of 256 bits. This standard offers a military-grade level of security, uncommon for solid-state drives sold to the civilian public.
