Two American women , of Hispanic origin, were arrested with 500,000 fentanyl pills hidden in bottles of collagen supplements when driving on the Interstate highway 10, nearly Big House , in Arizona. The police discovered them for speeding, they were stopped and a police dog confirmed that they had more than just a food supplement in their car that supposedly would make them look more beautiful. Two minors were traveling with them, who were placed in the custody of the Department of Child Safety .

According to the police, These women also seized a pistol and a large amount of cash from the black SUV in which they were traveling. The suspects were identified as Martha López, of 31 year old; and Tania Luna Solís, of 30 years old, born in Phoenix. The authorities sent them to the Pinal County Adult Detention Center, accused of drug trafficking, misconduct related to weapons and danger to minors.

Mark McCrory, Casa Grande Police Chief, noted that “it is difficult to quantify the number of lives this investigation has saved, but he is certain that they are making a difference.”
