During this Saturday all the spotlight was taken by Kylian Mbappé in Paris with PSG and in world football, after he assured that he will stay for three more years in the Parisian set. But the French striker was not the only player who ensured his continuity at PSG.
The Costa Rican goalkeeper Keylor Navas assured after the game against Metz, in the one who celebrated his tenth Ligue One title, who does not intend to leave the Parisian club. All the rumors arose before his possible loss of the position against the Italian Donnarumma.
After PSG’s 5-0 victory, Navas stated in an interview with French media that he still has years left on his contract and will continue at PSG.
“Will I be next year? Yes, yes, I have two more years on my contract”, said the Costa Rican in statements given to Prime Video Sport France.
One of the reasons why the Costa Rican will keep in the Parisian team is how good he feels in the French capital with his family. “My family and I are happy here, we will continue!”, sentenced the Tico.
Navas arrived in 2019 to PSG after a great spell with Real Madrid. Since then he has won two Ligue 1 titles, although this season his minutes have been reduced with the arrival of Donnarumma, who was the starter in the Champions League and responsible for the defeat in the round of 16 against Real Madrid.
One of the players who did confirm his dismissal this Saturday was the Argentine Ángel Di María, who presumably he will arrive at Juventus from Serie A after the departure of Paulo Dybala.
