Carlos Vela talks about his continuity in MLS: “If it's in my hands, of course I'll continue in LAFC”

Carlos Vela, who scored LAFC’s goal this Wednesday in their 1-2 loss to Austin, He assured that the conversations for his renewal are on the right track and showed his willingness to reach an agreement with the Los Angeles team.
“If it’s up to me, of course I’ll continue at LAFC. I will help the team win a trophy”, said the Mexican before the media, assuring that the negotiations are going “a little better”.
In one of his few appearances before the press in recent times, the striker stressed that “until you sign (the contract) you don’t have something for sure”, but pointed out that both the LAFC and he are “making efforts to make this work”.
“I am delighted to play in Los Angeles, in this stadium and with these fans. Enjoying this team and being able to give this team a title is something that motivates me a lot. And I think the club too”, he developed.
“ We’re walking to the same side, both of us doing our best to make this work. When both parties really want something to happen, I think it can. We are happy where we are, but to tell you the truth, I focus more on enjoying each game”, he assured.
