The Pennsylvania high school choir director was arrested for having a sexual relationship with a female student after her husband ratted her out to the school administrators.
Olivia Ortz, aged 26, was arrested Monday and charged with two counts of sexual activity with a 17 year old Wilmington Area High School student, New Castle News reported.

Her husband, who was freelancing for the school’s music department, found incriminating messages on Ortz’s iPad after returning to home from a recent trip to Florida and ratted her out to the principal.
Ortz , of Hermitage, was suspended on May 9 and a warrant for her arrest was issued on Friday.
Reportedly, he refused to immediately turn himself in and even sang at a local concert the Sunday before to finally give up the next day.
Surprisingly, Ortz’s predecessor as the school’s music director, Jonathan Priano, of 37 years old, faces similar charges of sexual misconduct with n the students.
He allegedly had an affinity for tickling female students’ feet and forming inappropriately close relationships with them, according to reports. His criminal case is pending.
Following advice from Ortz’s husband, investigators found more than 100 messages between the choir leader and her student using the Spotify chat feature.
The couple allegedly had a code word in case their illicit relationship was ever discovered.
In police interviews , the student admitted to going to the teacher’s house when her husband was away and that they had sex on several occasions.
The girl said she returned to Ortz’s house after her husband discovered their relationship to offer comfort to the teacher, according to WTAE.
Authorities said they interviewed the teen and her parents again on May 5 after of executing a conclusive search warrant.
The defiant teenager told him authorities that the couple still communicated despite impending criminal charges against Ortz and that they were in love.
Ortz is being held at the Lawrence County Jail on $150, dollars and his next hearing is scheduled for 25 may. Priano, who faces charges of sexual assault and two counts of unlawful contact with minors, had a pre-trial hearing scheduled for June.
